# Mat Sides

> We'll email you when someone joins your IBJJF division, before brackets are posted. We watch the public athletes list so you do not have to keep checking it.

- Site: https://matsides.com
- Product type: IBJJF division watch for competitors
- Primary audience: registered BJJ athletes preparing for an IBJJF event
- Full brief: https://matsides.com/llms-full.txt

## What it does

1. A competitor saves the name as registered on the IBJJF list.
2. They pick an event and division — on the list or not.
3. Mat Sides writes a note on each name and projects a likely first-round bracket from Grand Slam points, then overall IBJJF points.
4. It emails if someone registers, moves, or withdraws on a watched division.
5. It emails when IBJJF posts the official bracket for a division the competitor entered.
6. Save the name once and Standing keeps this season’s fights; Planned holds events they still mean to enter.

## What it is not

- Not the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
- Not the official draw. The likely first round is a projection until IBJJF posts brackets.
- Not a login into IBJJF membership. Public athletes lists only.
- Not a data broker. We never sell or share competitor data.

## Public pages

- [Home](https://matsides.com/): product explanation and watch a division
- [News](https://matsides.com/news): news about public lists and the season, each with a source
- Standing pages (`/a/*`) are share links a competitor sends. They show standing, events they plan to enter, and events they are registered for. They are not a directory.
- [Report an issue or suggest a change](https://matsides.com/note): what broke, or a suggestion
- [Privacy](https://matsides.com/privacy): we never sell or share your data
- [Terms of use](https://matsides.com/terms): the agreement for watching a division
- [llms.txt](https://matsides.com/llms.txt): this file
- [llms-full.txt](https://matsides.com/llms-full.txt): longer brief for assistants

Signed-in routes (`/dashboard`, `/watches/*`) are private and should not be treated as public documentation.
