New IBJJF Rule: Black Belt Registration Now Requires Proof of Rank

The rule change mandates that black belt competitors must now provide proof of rank during registration.

This update came after a high-profile incident involving a UFC veteran who medaled in a black belt division without prior IBJJF rank verification.

The new measure aims to prevent similar occurrences and maintain the integrity of divisions for competitors.
