World Master just showed how late a list still moves

World Master IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2026 ran September 3–5 in Las Vegas.

Registration closed in late August.

IBJJF then ran an athlete correction deadline, a professor correction window, and a registration checkday.

On checkday, a person alone in a division could stay, move age or weight, or withdraw.

One late name changes a three-person division into a bracket.

Brackets were listed for September 2, the day before the mats.

That is the gap Mat Sides watches: the public list, not the official draw.

If you found a new name in the bullpen last weekend, that is the problem.
